Death Valley National Park Restaurants
Furnace Creek Restaurant -- Furnace Creek, CA
A bit more upscale than the Forty-Niner Cafe with excellent food and higher prices. Great views of the desert if you have a window table. Prices are comparable to the Steakhouse at the Ranch across the road. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a dress code at dinner until 8:30 - no jeans allowed. But we did notice a number of people wearing khaki hiking pants with sneakers. And why not, it's a National Park.
You can experience the charm of fine dining in one of the world's most remote settings. Serving all three meals from a menu incorporating classical, continental, southwestern and pacific-rim influences. Full cocktail service, espresso service and a fine California varietal wine list are available.
Special Note: The Furnace Creek Inn is available to guests from mid-October through mid-May. From mid-May through mid-October all operations are consolidated at the Furnace Creek Ranch.
The Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch Resort is situated in a lush oasis surrounded by the vast and arid desert of Death Valley National Park, California - just 120 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada and 275 miles northeast of Los Angeles, California. This is one resort with two hotels - the historic, 4-diamond, 66 room Furnace Creek Inn and the more family oriented 224 room Furnace Creek Ranch.
